The Swiss Market Index (SMI) is currently trading at 12,116.98 points, with no change from the previous day's close. The advance-decline ratio across the SMI shows a positive trend, with 155 advances and only 41 declines, indicating a 3.78x increase in the number of advancing stocks.

However, the SMI Caps, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized companies, is experiencing a slight decline of 0.0%. This could be attributed to the top losers in this category, including Xlife Sciences AG, GAM Holding AG, and Tornos Holding AG, which have seen a decrease in their stock prices by 13.33%, 7.50%, and 5.54%, respectively.

On the other hand, the top gainers in the SMI Caps category are Idorsia Ltd., Spexis Ltd., and Newron Pharmaceuticals SpA, with an increase in their stock prices by 15.50%, 11.76%, and 11.73%, respectively.

In terms of large-cap companies, ABB Ltd. is the top gainer with a 4.63% increase in its stock price. Straumann Holding AG leads the mid-cap category with a 3.78% increase, while Avolta AG takes the top spot in the small-cap category with a 4.69% increase.

However, Nestlé SA, a large-cap company, has seen a slight decrease of 0.16% in its stock price, making it the top loser in this category. Swisscom AG, a mid-cap company, has also experienced a decrease of 0.36% in its stock price, while BKW AG, a small-cap company, has seen a decline of 1.87%.
