Swiss Market Index (SMI) sees mixed performance with notable gainers and losers

The Swiss Market Index (SMI) is experiencing a slight decline today, trading at 11,678.59 with a loss of -37.91 points or -0.32%. The advance-decline ratio across the SMI shows that for every 121 stocks advancing, 69 are declining, indicating a 1.75x ratio.

The SMI Caps, which tracks the performance of small and mid-cap stocks in Switzerland, is also down by 0.32%. However, there are still some notable gainers in the market today. In terms of market capitalization, the top large cap gainer is Compagnie Financière Richemont SA with a 2.19% increase, followed by Lonza Group AG with a 1.00% gain in the mid-cap category, and SIG Group AG with a 2.38% increase in the small cap category. On the other hand, the top large cap loser is Novartis AG with a -1.87% decline, Sonova Holding AG with a -1.89% decrease in the mid-cap category, and Emmi AG with a -1.63% drop in the small cap category.
