Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Experiences Mixed Market Performance with Gains and Losses
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a mixed market performance today, with a total of 48 advances and 37 declines, resulting in an advance-decline ratio of 1.3x. The ADX Caps also experienced a slight decrease of 0.02%, trading at 9,249.90 with a loss of -1.54 points.
In terms of top gainers, ADNOC Logistics & Services Plc took the lead among large cap companies with a 2.98% increase, while Gulf Navigation Holding PJSC and National Corp. for Tourism & Hotels saw gains of 1.75% and 2.45% respectively in the mid and small cap categories.
On the other hand, Apex Investment PSC, Al Yah Satellite Communications Co. PJSC, and Orascom Construction Plc were the top losers in the large, mid, and small cap categories, with losses of -1.67%, -2.35%, and -9.92% respectively.
In terms of sector performance, only one sector advanced while one sector declined, with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange itself being the top losing sector at -0.02%.
Among the top gainers on the ADX were Emirates Islamic Bank PJSC with a 14.96% increase, Sharjah Cement & Industrial Development Co. with an 8.00% increase, and BHM Capital Financial Services PSC with a 7.20% increase. However, Orascom Construction Plc, Takaful Emarat PSC, and ESG Emirates Stallions Group PJSC were the top losers, with losses of -9.92%, -9.66%, and -5.00% respectively.
